So, I'm expecting to quit my job around September once my business school apps are in. I'm gonna take the opportunity to do 6 month or so around the world trip: skiing and kiting (maybe snow kiting if I get bored).
I'm gonna do one of those around the world tickets so I was wondering if you guys had some must see places to hit up. Here's where I'm thinking:
I living in India so I'll start from there (this is not necessarily the order I will go in:
1. Boracay (haven't been there)
2. Japan (not sure where, any suggestions)
3. Australia
4. New Zealand
5. Hawaii
6. Chile/Argentina
7. Brazil
8. Antartica - I'm gonna take a boat trip down there in December and if they'll let me Ill launch my kite.
8. Cape Town (been there, loved it)
Any other suggestions? I'm skipping Europe and N. America because well, I'm from there. Not as exciting.
Anyone else want to quit their job and kite about for a bit?

Bahia salinas in costa rica.
I had a very good time there all around. kiting everyday. I was there for 9 days and could have easily spent a few weeks.

Japan? Rather hit up Vietnam.
Boracay and other places in the Philippines is a must.
When Brazil?
Kenya, mosambique etc is also nice.

I did Vietnam New Years, so not a huge rush to get back there. While I liked Mui Ne: it's cheap, the kiting was good. I don't think I'm that interested in Vietnam to go back.

Mauritius is very doable. I work in India. So actually I'm considering doing it this summer as I can fly there direct from Bombay.
I've heard that I'll need to bring someone or else I'll be bored to tears. I am a bit of a loner, but not a complete hermit.

Yep the night time entertainment is pretty basic.
The day time entertainment makes up for it though.
