best summer spots

Postby dennisdeslager » Sat Apr 30, 2011 8:35 pm

Im going two times on a kitesurfing trip this summer
One alone, and one with the family ( i am only 16 )
For the vacation alone, i want something close to or in europe.
For the family, it doesn't matter, every continent is possible.
Any suggestions?
I want something with 100 % wind

Ok, thanks.
I was also thinking about Brazil for the family, could you give the 5 best/ most popular spots?
I have also asked about Egypt, but my parents won't let me go because it's a little dangerous on my own and at my age there.

Other suggestions?

Hi,

Brazil is a very good option for summertime, windy, not busy, many spots. 1h north to Fortaleza, you have a fantastic spot, for all riders level, in Paracuru. Look at our webpage to get an idea: www.paracuruparadise.com

Hi dennis,

Cabarete in the Dominican Republic is known for its consitancy in summer. It's a very diverse spot where you have some flat water but also waves. Wind ist sideonshore all the time and from 15-35 knots.
If you are looking for a nice Accomodation suited for families check out www.hookedcabarete.com. We are a small appartment hotel and mainly get active people (kiting and surfing) staying here.

Best regards
Nino

100% wind would be beautiful...unfortunately it's a myth, it doesn't exist anywhere no matter how shiny or flash the advert telling you it does is!

Best you can do is go to the places where the wind is generally consistent at the time you're looking at...and hope!
