I wanted to mess around with some board shapes and was wondering what design software to use on a mac?

Iv designed a few boards now using a mixture of Solid Edge and rhinoceros 3D.
Solid Edge/Solid works are very expensive programs but i think u can get Rhino pretty cheap.

You can try this software. It's free. I've used it for several surfboard outlines. You can modify the templates for twin tips too.

HA! That's the easy part. try getting the inserts to hold without making the board look shitty. Hopefully it will take you less than 15-20 protos. Your best bet is to help an established brand to distribute unless you are just a DIY junkie.

15-20 protos lol, I'm guessing you are not a DIY junkie Silver Fox. Inserts are he least of your problems. Stop talking through your ass!
