Plenty of snow up on towgotee pass! Rode there yesterday with 5-10 of freshies on top of corn. 15 feet of snow still on the ground. :thumb:

Still a ton of snow in the Beartooths and Big Horns however access has been an issue with rockslides temporarily closing the road from Mammoth to Cooke City. Things should shake out by next week. Keep in touch!

 WOW, So many options. Wayne, I would luv to come thru Jackson. But no Pyranhas goin' there. My route takes me from Wash. to Kalispel, down to Missoula and east across Mont. to Minn. I am in Boise now with stops in Bend and Hood River before I get into Wash. Got a buddy in Bend with a sled who wants to get me up on Mt. Bachelor. Any place up there to launch my kite? Now about yesterday. Brian got me up on Skyline. I have never seen so much snow there. Hell, for that matter I have never ridden in so much snow. I had a blast. The new snow from the day before stayed dry for most of the sesh. Got heavy toward the end. It was so much fun for this east coast guy to get the goods. Wind was strong out of the SE and S. Thanks Brian!

hey rvrrat,

jayzoos, good to see you're still chasing the snow and getting some along your delivery route.

did ye know that snow melts and turns into a liquid form which is also rideable? give it a lash sometime, you might like it!

Let us know if you're coming thru Michigan. (sorry no snow here at the moment )

safe travels

 Oh Yeah, I can ride the melting snow. But I prefer it goin' down hill. I do have an inflatable and a twintip. I don't get out with it very much though. I will have to throw it in the truck for my next trip into Mich. I like the idea of ridin' the fresh water of Lake Mich. Now back to my trip. I got to ride under the shadows of Mt. Bachelor in Oregon on Thurs. I got into an area 4 miles north next to Ball Mt. and Broken Top by snowmobile. I had fresh dry snow and good wind out of the NW. It is an area as large as Skyline with lots of rolling terrain. It was awesome ridin' around checkin' out the volcanoes and cinder cones that make up the terrain. With a S or SE wind you could climb the side of Ball Mt. and get some great vertical. I got Montana in my sites now. Gonna be in Bozeman Wed. next week. Got some time Noah? Brian gave me your number. I'll be given you a call! JR

Of course I have time to kite! Planning to head into the Beartooths around the middle of next week. There is a ton of snow up there this year. The highway 212 is going to open next weekend and I'll be there for that as well. Give me a call before I get out of cell coverage.
