Here is how: put a GPS in your pocket

Last weekend GPS screen shot after 4 sessions, top wind at site: 21 knots
Logged almost 77 miles and a top speed of 37.4 mph. A GPS is VERY accurate for speed and distance.

Hey I have the garmin 305 gps. Got it for about $100 on amazon.

It has a current speed option, and large display. I had to stop looking at it at about 30 does record the speed, and it seems pretty accurate.
