the size of kites for Israel for this time of the year

The Kineret is too small for secret spots, but, with a bit of luck an empty beach can be found.... :greenlaugh:

aih jaih jaaaaaih... You make me jealous my friend... I cant wait to come home already. Thursday I come... Friday pray for wind!!!
I dont know what you mean by kite scene, but when there is wind, you will see some locals at Sironit. Ilan, one of the life guards - usually with a locally made kite from Apco. Amir, with Takoon skoop 8.5 or Caution15. Sometimes Eyal with Aiblasts, or Caution, and me and Ronen. But if you see wind, and dont see any kites in the water at Sironit, head on down the road (South) past the Carmel hotel, to Hof Poleg (hof ha yarok), there will always be kiters there... probably even on a very low wind day. Lots learn and get taught there as well.

Dolphinarium eh... have fun.

See you later on in the week. Give me a call Friday, or let me have a local number, so I can call you...
Ciao

Andi...

WAKE UP SLEEPY head...

Sinai eh... unfortunately I dont have too much experience there, but Eilat is incredible for kiting - (dolphins, sharks, turtles, jupming and flying fish...). BLUE BLUE water. I personally love Eilat, and the summer months are usually windy. The largest concerntration of the best kiters in Israel are Eilatis...

If you do make it down to Eilat (dont let the 5 hour drive put you off - it is sooooo beautiful, the whole way down), speak to the locals, they are very nice people, even if they do refer to you as a SHVEDI at first, hehe blonde hair gets them so jealous :greenlaugh: A lot of them have been into the Sinai for kiting / windsurfing trips...

Cool, got your numba ol chap. Have a happy week. later.

Andi

Don't think that it is worth the risk, but just visiting, and being there is awsome enough...
