don't worry, the English is fine, we can understand it!

Enjoy the site!

I have been to Mexico before...the wind was ok, I went to Isla Holbox...and what about Isla Blanca etc? Don't they have better wind up there?
Also Cuba gets good wind...it is pretty close to you!

This time of the year only when a tropical wave goes by the wind could be strong, other than that the wind tends to be light on most areas of the yucatan peninsula, The port of Progreso could be one of the only places with more relaible wind if thermal wind comes as they call it there "El brisote".

Well, depends what you call "light", I ride the whole wind season which is from mid november till the end of mai with my 11m or 9m in Playa del carmen.
I live and work on the beach so i am pretty much the whole time there.

When the wind turns north, the lagune of isla blanca is perfect and then you get out with 6m to 9m kites on flat water. Get chilly tho.

This season, we had about 80 days of 16/18 knots side on shore wind between February and April. Not too bad!!!! :D

When it comes from NE or E, wind is usually better in PDC than Cancun Hotel zone/nizuc.
When it comes from ESE/SE, you will find much better side on shore condition in the Hotel zone of cancun or in the flat of Punta Nizuc.

Just a matter of knowing where to go with each wind direction.....just like anywhere!
Summer, wind is very weak, except in you have an EPIC Infiniy kite with an oxygen board  and then you can ride any day in the afternoon!
If not, as Kitecozumel said, drive 3/4 hours up north to the golf coast and you ll find some super good wind almost any afternoon!!

Then get ready with your smaller kite, 6/7m for me as I weight 140Lb, and get the tropical storm/hurrican wind between the rain shower!!!!! Not for everyone tho!!! :strong:
