I'm planning a trip ti cape verde in February. Are there any possibilities to rent a car there. I wanna go to the kitebeach by car and want also to discover the island by car. S is there a car rental on Sal or only Taxis?

Been there last February…..not to much sightseeing, you can visit the whole island within a day…so, rent a car for a day and believe me is more than enough!!!

The windy days if you are not willing to kite in Santa Maria beach you can always get a taxi(4x4) to/from the kite beach at a cost around €10.

Njoy and pray to god for windy days….otherwise the place sucks and you ll get bored to death!!!!

Keep in mind: not all of the Cape Verde islands are the same: there is a LOT to discover on Santo Antao and Sao Vicente.
