We have the Gypsy Wakeskate here in Southampton in the UK at the mo and have been loving riding it. I didnt think the idea was to put signatures or drawings on it but I might be wrong, there's something on the underside which is cool graffiti art. We'll put our sticker on it so then its removeable if needs be. We'll also try and get some good photos of it

The post inspired me to make a wakeskate as well. Used 6 sheets of 1/8" plywood. Outline is copy of the cabrinha wakeskate. 140cm x 40, 1.5" rocker . Nose/tail and rails are built up with additional wood strips. 6 strips for nose/tail area and 4 strips for the rails (to create concave). Sealed it all with epoxy resin.

sorry to tell you but 140cm its HUGE for a wakeskate or "kiteskate" ENORME

Oops. Sorry typo. It's 120cm x 40cm. Got it out today. Good wind, but the waves were a little big. Tried it finless, but I think I'll put some fins on it and give a another go. It really gives you a good idea of how to use your edge to go up wind.

Winter is coming to an end, and so is this wake skate 121X43.
Half of side-cut is straight, than it narrows with progressing of rocker. Rocker is more than 4 cm, maybe even 5. The hight of elevated edges is 2 cm. 6 mm concave. NO FINS! NO STRAPS! PADS? -> not defined yet; I'm still deciding between EVA foam, griptape and epoxy sprinkled with salt.

Still needs some sanding, patching, heavy pressing and laminating, then all it's left to do is about one month of finishing.
