Naish Hawaii State Championships

Postby alex a » Mon Aug 22, 2011 6:51 pm

Racing concluded for the Naish Race Series this past Saturday with Hawaii State Championships.
Weather was a little gusty compared to regular Maui conditions but the Race committee managed to get off 9 races, three for each class of Raceboards, Surfboards, and Twintips.
Conditions were 7m to 12m weather.
I want to thank the Naish Crew for putting on another great Series!

I'd like to congratulate you with a super victory. For us who are just getting into this, it is a lot of fun watching you and the closer competitors race.

On thing I think makes a race series like this fun is that there is room not only for pro's, but also people just out to have fun. To me this is really what kiting is about, and good mix of people, every ones smiles, and many great riders doing their thing. Just a ton of people in the water having fun.
