You're going to dig that board! I bought the 2011 136x41 LTD last spring.

Ditch the stock pads and footstraps for something better. There are a ton of better options out there.

enjoy.

What's wrong with the stock footstraps and pads?

For me the stock pads are not comfortable.

I receive the litewave lace up a few days a go and they are
more softer pads, but not to soft like other pads, and have better grip.
Really good construction.

I know footwear of any kind is subjective, the CF's stock pads were just incompatible with my feet. I have very flat feet and the huge arch mold killed my feet. I also didn't like that large toe bar they had. It was way too hard of foam and created a pressure point. The straps were fine I imagine, I never rode with them.

The Litewaves are like bedroom slippers and they work great with booties too.

Hi,

did 1st test on 2012 gear, combination RaptorPRO 137x41 and Sculp 11m 2012 kite. I've tested it in it's high end probably, avg. around 28kts, gusts more.

I need to say that I have relations with Crazy Fly, but as many guys know me around here I always try to give unbiased opinions and I always say what I like or don't like. I also won't try to make any comparisons to other brands specifically in this review, only to CF's 2011 models.

New bar is really SICK, the lightest on the market (and probably the strongest?). Super clean and safety is working really well (tested that too) and it is combined back easily. Depowering in flight on heavy load is way easier than with last year's bar I also like that there is no sharp edges on the QR so unhooking and grabbing back is now much safer to the hands. Stopper is working as it should, you can still push it away with a bit force but it is working great when cruising and resting. Swivel is built in so unrolling of front lines is fast.

If you liked 2011 Sculp 11m - I'm sure that you will like 2012 version even more - there is not much change in kite's geometry, maybe a bit thinner in the center (slightly higher AR) which will help eating gusts even better (good with eating gusts was ver2011 already if you compare it to other deltas). Wingtip diam. is slightly thinner too. What is changed is one pump system, now it is more secured with neoprene cover and the deflation is faster since tubing does not break. Also kite has new, safer main pulley - so even if it break - the kite will remain operational due to line loop around it. Relaunching is always easy with this kind of kites ;). Forward speed, upwind, etc.. as it should be. Jumps long and lofty. Power delivery very linear.

Contitions was also great to test the responsiveness of the kite in really high winds. Here Crazy Fly did a move forward - I had the kite completely depowered and I got better and faster response from the kite!

I can't say much more regarding board. Another quality product from CF. You see graphics, you see design, new fins are cool - they're thinner and they actually do flex which is good for carving and transitions, board is fast, carves good, great pop, holds edge, did easily all the tricks I know. Maybe it splashes slightly more than Raptor 2011 LTD (I had 132x41) which was my the choice for more choppy conditions. I have no comment on straps/pads only that they work as they should work on any board.

Some details are in the pics...

It will be for beguiner/advance so i'm looking for some easy to use kite but with good "all-around" to, for my own use to (kite loop, basic unhooked and big air)
