What is the kite race capital of the East Coast of the US? Seems that San Francisco has become the center for racing in the US, but are there any races on the East Coast?
Outer Banks is probably the biggest kiting area, but I don't think there are any races there. Too shallow in the sound?
Maybe Miami? I've seen a few videos of Damien Leroy and others racing there.
I'm in Virginia Beach, looking for a place to travel sometime for a race.

I guess if no one responds I can declare Virginia Beach the kite racing center of the East Coast.
Fleet size: 1
Race #1 in Virginia Beach race series championship this Friday at First Landing State Park. I'll be the guy falling off of a raceboard trying to figure out how to ride it. If you want to race wave me down. If no one shows, I win by default... I'm undefeated so far.

Hi Dave,
The only place on the East Coast with racers is probably Miami. I'd guess that most days with wind you could find a pretty high level of rider to train with. Let me know if you are headed down and I can hook you up with the crew.
