As many as people wish Mr.Terrie Bodaert. Can't control happy people especially after they try an EPIC kite you should know better.

P.S. Please "vpkiteboarding" if you want to say something about EPIC kites there is already a post called "EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)", I know how excited you are but by doing this you are upsetting few jealous people that rides for other kite company, and when they see EPIC kites every where it drives them crazy.

Looks like Dimitri owns part of this forum. Would be interesting to see what would happen if other manufacturers did the same...Chaos! The only thing that cannot be controled is stupidity. Double or triple posting the same thread regularly only puts people off from reading an Epic thread and sounds like desperation.

Is Dimitri fool enough to beleive people riding Epic kites are the only ones having fun ? Don't think so.

Remember most kitesurfers dont ride his kites or never seen one. North, Cabrinha, F-One etc don't forward customers mails /ask you to post on forums and create an artificial buzz or simply not allowed to if they don't support kiteforum.

Please don't start the "jealous" and just try it arguments. Many people here have been kitesurfing for a long time and everyone buys what they think is best for them.

This is a real shame because trying too hard gives a basically good product such a cheap image. I am glad Switch kites did not do the same mistake as it looked they were going that way for a while.

For what i care...

Christophe

Hey guys. I did not mean to start up a huge uproar by making a new post. I am not a frequent poster and all i wanted to do was post this cool picture with the lighthouse in the back ground. I thought i was on the same post as i was before, but not. As far as people having fun on other kites i don't think that anyone has said that. Every rider has a different style and likes different gear. Epic is a great kite there are also others. But i have rode many and dealt with other companys and I assure you that Dimitri is no fool, he is a great guy, working hard to provide the best he can at customer service and building a kite brand that will not dissapoint its riders. Other companys should use alternative media to get its message out. I have seen many posts from other brands as well. Any way, I will be more careful where I post in the future, sorry for the confusion and did not mean to upset anyone.

Hello Christophe "windmaker", there is so much you don't know about what's going on. Also the reason why you don't see any "Switch" post any more is because in order to promote a brand on the KITEFORUM you need to help and pay for few ads for supporting the Kiteforum in which Switch kites did not do. This is the same with all the other brands you see on the forum. They all pay for some advertisement so they can promote their brand. So please once again go kiting an have fun instead of posting things that you don't know. And if you are not jealous why you keep on coming back!!!!!!

Mr. Terrie Boddaert.
Thank God you don't agree with the way the company is run, this is the reason why we went our separate ways. We are doing extremely well as you can see. We are already sold out of (3G) kites and turning down dealers & schools world wide. So I guess, what ever we are doing works.
:thumb:

P.S. (This is for both of you guys)
It is well known that if you are doing a great job, you will have few jealous people that will post very negative post about you and the company. I have heard this from lots of people. It is just human nature. So now let's go back to the EPIC session people are having......
:allbegood:

Epic has been doing a lot of demos and just had their dealer meeting, so I'm sure there will be a bit of a surge in their threads due to this. My opinion with some of this feedback is that - you don't need to read a topic that you're not interested in. If people are excited and want to discus their gear then why not give them an opportunity to do so. I'm glad people are happy with their gear or support. Others are obviously welcome to initiate other threads... ozone or flysurfer comes to mind, where their clients are very excited to talk about their gear. Not many kites will get that kind of enthusiasm.

If people are that stoked on riding your gear, why not give them an opportunity to share that vibe. People could always start a naish thread to talk about how much they like the kites....

So lets all continue to share the excitement of your gear as you see fit. I think it's common knowledge that I really enjoy my kites... from Epic. New product releases are something that excites me each year... remember that new kite smell when you open the box? Or how you inflate it in your yard just to check it out? Or are really pissed off when you have a new kite in January and the lakes are frozen but there is no snow? This is all stoke... we all share it no matter what you ride. And if you like what you ride and who makes it... more power to ya!

Hey Dimitri, thanks for your honesty. I did'nt realize brands had to pay in order to have access to the forum. I now realize you are just trying to get as much for your money as possible :thumb:

Shame though, I thought kiteforum was an open discussion place and now might instead end up squatted by just few brands. Business is business...

Still don't understand the jealousy thing.. Tried the kites (nice), they are not competitors on my market (inexistent) and i am sure i could get some if I wanted, can you explain ?

I find your posts entertaining. It must be tough trying to post everyday just to keep a thread going and necessary as they otherwise disapear very fast.
