It´s no problem at all! Very easy if you know how to kite on water, and even more if you know the snow! The feel is a bit different, since the ground is a bit different to the water, but you will have no problem. Biggest challenge for a waterkiter is normally the terrain and of course the pop. The feel of edging on more solid ground with a snowboard is also a little different, but knowing how to kite you´ll fix it in no time.
Just don´t go for you sickest handlepass on pure ice for the first time and you´ll be ok
With a sent jump it´s pretty much the same, unless you are flying of a hill. But it´s much easier to pop and land softly if there is some power/ loose softer snow and not just rock hard ice...
And bring a helmet, the worst thing compared to water is the head smashes you´ll get when you miss a trick...
