The two boards are quite a lot different with the Magnum suited to slightly higher winds and larger waves with the Gambler (5 10" ) suited to smaller waves and lighter winds. I must admit I used to ride my Gambler all the time but now ride the magnum but its been a long learning curve for me as i had not been on a surfboard for many years and by no means an expert. Think about the conditions you ride in and be honest with yourself about what you want the board to do. I now prefer the Magnum as it feels more stable in higher winds for me but i hear the Gambler is awesome strapless, Chris at Wainman has had lots of time on both and better to inform you of the differences, drop him a line
