Wow... clearly I made a bit of an impression... I'm truly flattered. The fact is that I love to teach and better yet, I just love it when new people get excited, no matter how they get into the sport. I'm REALLY excited about this upcoming season and am hoping the snow dumps soon.

I have a spot in Exeter that I can teach from as well, so it might even be CLOSER than you think. PLus it gets snow earlier than I do here in the KW area. There is an amazing local snow community that you'll love. Lots of guys from the London area.

So lets talk...even if it's simply to talk things out to get you going. I do have a trainer for sale ($100) and turn over my kites (Epic Renegades) each year to students or others. I also offer a free lesson with the purchase of a new kite. I'm not in this for the sales, but it might help if I can pass along some savings.

take care

If you didn't get the account worked out just try another(or email mods).
PKF is a great resource to have; even if you only log on every now and again to check out used sales.

Looks like you're on the right track though with culture.

Take a course if you can!
If not, don´t buy a to expensive trainer kite, save the money for a proper kite ;)
And in the beginning, remember to check out the weather forcast, and start off in really low wind!
You can also check out: "How to snowkite" from snowkitefilm.com, a really good introduction, and you will learn some important stuff.
