I'm currently having this same problem - where I'm (almost) constantly being logged-out whenever I try to post a reply or new topic. Very, very frustrating!

I'm running Win7 with FF8 and IE6 - problem happens with both browsers!

Apparently this problem has been recurring for years! Will it ever be resolved?

Toby, this constant intermitent "log-off" problem is driving me to drink (more heavily)!

I'm convinced this problem resides within phpBB (the software and/or admin's configuration) - rather than the browser, OS, etc.

Question: are you running the latest version of phpBB? It's "Olympus" 3.0.9. You may need to do an update or fresh install.

Below are some links to relative threads on the phpBB forum. If you search on "logged-off", you'll get a bazillion hits - this problem is pervasive and wide-spread among phpBB users.

I try to use the forum from my old iphone.
Not via Apps I have enough of them already but from Safari.

Your site always asks me for my password now this is where I have trouble.
I've been a member since forever and can't remember it.
So I never reply anymore unless I get my fat arse off the couch and go fire up the old MAC in the office. For some reason it has stayed logged in all these years.

Anyway, I don't see how to display my password on screen or anything like that.
It would be so useful if we could do that some how.
And if I try to re set it to a new password I must also know my old password.
So I can't win there either.

I'm sure I'm not the only one like this, but as they can't log in either how would you know.

You got any suggestions?

Yes, I have problem- Why it's that when i'm logging in, i'm rediredcted to index page instead of page i was in?!?! (eg. wanted to post reply, got sent to index page! wtf?!?)
