Hi, I am looking fro a warm, windy destination for February that has kiting within walking distance from the hotel. Ideally I would like to stay at a resort that allows kiting off the beach in front of the hotel.
The hotel must be family friendly as I have 2 young children (2 & 4) , which limits my kiting to about 2 hours max per day...

Hi...
not sure how your budget runs, but I've got a fair bit of experience with what you are looking for. My kids are 7 and 4.
In St Lucia, Cotton Bay Village is sitting right on a fantastic, uncrowded spot. Downsides, food is average and if the wind clocks too far North its too gusty - and too far to go to Vieux Fort. But for the normal wind, its great. And your kite will be 50m from where you eat with family. Food is pricey and very average. Rooms are big and great for a family. Pool is great. I've spent a few months there over the last couple of years, I love it.
Over in Martinique, Cap Est Lagoon Resort is a fantastic hotel, but its spendy. kiting again is on site, butter flat and uncrowded. One of my favourite places. Food is great. But its plenty pricey (for me anyway).
The wind in both these places is reliable if the trades are normal, kiting almost every day.
Good luck!

I agree with Cocconut Bay Resort St. Lucia.
You will be 5 minutes from the airport
100 m from kite spot
Wind is good
They have a small kids 'lazy river' for play.
Hopefully you can get a package deal.

Hi there!
Cabarete is warm, windy and family friendly for sure.....the Dominicans LOVE children and there are great places to stay and kite out your front door.
Also very affordable nannies if needed.
If you need any more info feel free to email me, I have been based there for the last 9 years running my kiteboarding school.
