My new speed machine

Postby SaulOhio » Mon Dec 12, 2011 12:45 am

I just built a kite ice boat for this winter season. All that's left to do is paint it, connect the springs, add cables, and pad the seat.

The blades were salvaged from my old home-made ice sailboard. I may make larger ones so I can go in snow as deep as 2 inches.

I took some of the inspiration from that. I saw it used in a Youtube video called "Ice Kite Buttboarding".

But I think mine will be faster, because it gives me more leverage against the kite.
