Hi Ronnie, yes that was Damo on the slalom board in Puerto Rico. He loves that board and we will probably see him riding it in Los Barilles, Baja, Mexico this January for the slalom down there. Los Barilles had a great short slalom course last year that was really fun to watch! It was so short between buoys that Sean Farley won without changing his stance and would just go toe side on starboard tack. Colin from Squamish, Canada I think made it to the top Final four on a twin tip!

So the slalom board rides on the edge a bit compared to riding a race board flat?

Yes, this slalom board rides more on the rail, when going off the wind on a broad reach it can be ridden more flat like a raceboard though.

The CR69 looks real tempting. Is it IKA production registered? If not any plans on registering it? Not a deal breaker at that price. Also is it a true tri fin now or still a 3 or 4 fin with 5 boxes? Center rear strap position or just the two rears?
