How can you hold anything bigger than a 9m ish in 35+ knots ,im maxed on my 7 in 35-40 knots and I weight about 67kg, you'd have to be either really heavy or completly stupid to go out on a 14, no offense Tody, just my thoughts!

Philip, stop concerning yourself with what others do or don't do. And start eating more food! All the best, Mark

The hadlow 7m is a violent kite to ride in 30 knots + really gusty conditions, bit of a handful kind of like 2003 kite - nice in steady winds tho.

I'm the same weight as you and kite my 10m 2011er Switchblade until 35knots. I didn't come across anything more than that here in NE Brazil so the 8m and 6m Switchblades are used by my girl.
Boards- 3 x 2011er 130x40 Monk(s)

Cheers

PS: Toby packs up and goes home when wind goes above 26knots (and that's when the fun starts for me).

In Virginia beach the general consensus is that you never need anything smaller than a 9m. I rode my 7 meter about 2 times a year. Replaced the 7m bularoo with a 7.5 kahoona and get to ride it a lot more often.

Currently ride:
7.5 m kahoona v3
11.5m kahoona v2
18m dyno
OR Mako 140 and Mako king
Cabrinha race 183

Selling:
09 waroo 9m
08 waroo 11m
07 bularoo 7m

Buying:
10 m rebel
