Yes I tested the 5'8" in the waves one day we had well overhead waves super windy Rode the DV8 with straps( which I usually do not do) And absolutely loved it. It performs better then a normal surfboard in the mega choppy conditions. It has just a bit of flex which really smooths out the chop.. I liked the fact that the board has heavy nose rocker making some crazy late drops easy!! Never stuffed the board all day and was getting into some really critical waves. The board can also go very fast and its fun to break out the fins and do huge slides but it holds very well in the steep part of the wave. I also had a lite wind strapless day and it was a blast with the sunken deck and GRAB rail going all the way around the board made tricks, airs and transitions super easy.. I am getting one of the 6'1" Dv8's when he gets them in..Feel free to shoot me any specific questions that you have...

PS I am not sponsered by Litewave and do not sell them so this a unbiased review. Dave was testing the board in hatteras knew I am a good wave style kiter gave me the board for a few days and asked my opinion.. My Opinion it is a great wave board sincerely TED B

Same thought in my mind, and probably anyone else that has seen the kipuna.

No harm in that Dave, good ideas will get copied, developed, and refined.

What makes it a copy of the Kipuna? The recessed deck pad?
