I have a Nobile Remi Pro and it rides great. Base does not seem any softer than other snowboards. My only issue is I have the 2011 (?) base with that 3D snake technology bottom....

The snow varies every time...sometimes thin cover, sometimes not. I've had the board out several times, but I try not to go over any rocks. Looks like a different board than you.

Here's a picture. I waxed it a couple sessions ago. Holding up nicely...

On my downhill boards I go in the trees searching for powder. I tend to find a lot of rocks. There my boards look more like yours. I wouldn't cry too much about it. You didn't blow out the edge so that is an easy repair for any shop!

Aye aye captain!
Mr kiter needs a ptex job. I never spend more than 30 bucks on my seasonal boards. No matter what quality, riding on anything frozen esp water will shred your board and separate your edges in no time. the ice doesn't know whether your board is flat, waxed or otherwise. Sharpen that thing and get on with your riding!
