Yes it does live up.
Very powerful kite, more powerful than you would think a 10M could be.
For me, the 10M goes right to where a Screamer 14M picks up the lightwind duties, don't feel like I need a 12M at all. 7/10/14 does the job.
Very fast turning, it generates lots of power with movement, not a low aspect grunt bucket.
The lift and float are massive, scary the first few times you jump the kite, 50% higher than what is normal, the first time I sent it. Ho-ly crap!!
The 2011 LTD Edition that I demo'ed was a monster, just a balls out machine, not for the faint of heart.
The new 3G Screamer 10M LTD is clearly the next step in the LTD evolution, smoother and less raw power/hot rod,...more refined, easy to jump and easy to land the jumps, still a monster, but a good kind of monster.
This 3G LTD is fast enough that I'm running it on the slow setting now!
It pulls smoothly and powerfully through the turns/transitions, and the kite just wants to always fly forward, zero backstall.
It is a bit higher aspect than some kites, it blazes upwind.
I did not want to buy new gear when I tried these kites, but I could not ignore what I experienced.
I am a regular rider, very basic intermediate talent level, so this is not an expert only kite, but it is not a mild mannered, sleepy, cruiser kite, that is for sure. The Screamer LTD is stable and very predictable but is not as easy going as their Renegade kites, which fit into that all around, do everything category that is easy for any level kiter. I liked the Renegade 11M that I tested a lot, but my heart went thump thump when I got on the Screamers.
I highly recommend one,..
...but Dimitri is not kidding when he says not to try one if you just spent all your money on another kite.
