Pole cam! Trying a different angle. What do you think?

Tried out the pole cam yesterday. A little shakey and hard to hold onto. What do you think?

Nice stuff.

Shots with the boarder came out better (less shake, good angle...and oh yeah, the powder!)

I used the gopro2. The ski poles I used were wobbling pretty bad. I wanted the camera to be about 8 feet away from me. I like the side view as opposed to behind or right in the face. I will try it again today! Thanks for the comments!!!!:)

Nice one! Gliding backwards... mad! :o

I made a pole mount for GoPro out of a car window washer squeegee thing - it has one extension joint but the important thing was the round aluminum tube was light and didn't flex. And it was cheap :)
Costco has carbon fiber hiking poles that might do the job just as well too... I don't know if either of them was 8 feet long but with the wide angle, you don't need them that long... do you?

What did you use to edit the footage?

The picture and colors are nice and sharp. I'll get that out of the camera, but sometimes after I export it as a movie my video has lost it's luster (dull).
