5th Annual Georgetown Lake Open (GTO 5)

Postby Cole » Tue Jan 31, 2012 7:06 pm

Come join us for the 5th Annual Georgetown Lake Open (GTO V) March 1st – 4th 2012. The GTO V is Montana’s only snowkiting event that runs competitions along with demos and free starter clinics. If you have ever wanted to try snowkiting out for the first time or you want to compete then this is a must attend winter event. Come on out and see what snowkiting is all about. There will be pros and amat......eurs from around the country showcasing their skills, so you don’t want to miss out. Be there or Be square.

Once the sun goes down, the nightlife begins with parties both Friday and Saturday night. A raffle and Awards Ceremony will take place Saturday evening.

Wind or no wind this event is gonna be a blast. If the wind doesn’t blow then there is Discovery Ski Mountain just minutes away or you can play on the rails and kickers at the event site with the aid of snowmobiles, banshee bungees, and winches. Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is located just a short drive from the event site so you can always go and relax in the hot springs.

Not only is this an amazing event, but it is also a fundraiser for Search and Rescue so come out and help support the men and women that help you out when you get lost
in Montana.

Bring the family and turn the trip into a great family get away. For more info on things to do while in the area check out www.visitmt.com .
