These geniuses here would even prepare tight grid of refueling stations all over the red sea. Those little boats would really come handy during Jan's Baltic crossing in 30 knots and 6m waves. The problem is non of these pussies would even have the balls to be in them.

I just read that the Saudis through everything they had to the rescue, the crews didn't sleep for the duration and they are really proud to be involved and don't want any money from Polish side. All this shit about who's gonna pay and why all this trouble is utter nonsense.

Ok..I will admit I have no idea what I am talking about and am generally scared of the sea. I dont think he should change one bit of his "planning" for the next crossing. I only hope you will go with him marlboroughman.

I shit my pants at the prospect of spending the night in the middle of the red sea. That's why Jan is the man to me and I have a lot of respect for him. You on the other hand are nobody but a talking head.

Seriously -- for the Budget-minded person ; the only way to go
is with a catamaran like a Hobie 18, 20 or 21, with a lil 3 to 10Hp motor
off the stern. My Hobie 21 could Easily keep up with a kite-board
in good wind. An 18 ft could also but won't carry as much weight.

A Cat like this Reynolds 21 for $5K, will stay with a Kite-board also but has
a bunch More free-board so Ya stay dryer !!

Catamaran is not a bad idea actually. A bit dangerous if the wind picks up 25+ knots. It would not work at Baltic Sea, way too hairy. Red Sea with a good forecast and some locals willing to take a chance with the equipment and their life's maybe.

Like JAWS : Gonna need a Bigger Boat ? !! ------------or this case, Catamaran.
Problem is : for sailboats, only a Cat or Tri will work ; others are Too slow !
