I'm always a bit bummed when I have to leave the San Juans in the spring but this year was a pretty good trade from a kiting standpoint. Lots of new snow and a smooth north wind made for a great evening session. Glickster, you'll be glad to know that I'm taking advantage of my job benefits program. Come on up!

Sure, 13 miles up the Klondike highway out of Skagway AK on the US/Canadian border-roadside. The 4th annual backcountry bash is this weekend with a film festival, live music, and kite demos. Should be a lot of fun.
