Does anyone know where to buy online the Airush Sector V3, I mean within Europe.
PowerKiteShop.com covers all Airush kites range, but no boards...
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

ciao

No worries UKSurf! This board will maximize whats already in your quiver and the days of kiting.

A lot of city kiters I speak to who only have a weekend to get to the beach, get away from the family for a second or get out of work at 6pm and can't really afford to wait for good days take advantage of this board.

Hey FastFreddie,

You will see the boards coming in to Europe in the next 30 days or so. Which country are you located with? To avoid disappointment, many have already placed an order before arrival to insure that they get a board.
Otherwise it will be more difficult to find stock.

Cheers

100% They WILL be able to get them.. UK stock lands in 3-4 weeks and there is spare capacity still.. PKS will be able to get you one if you usually buy from them...

The press release goes to them today, so the board will probably be on their site in the next few days..

Cheers!

Really a nice and fun product.
Really interesting you say that - I too find a fast kite works almost as well as a really big kite. I use 10m - 12m.. I have a very fast 14 that I also use, but the small fast kites seem to generate power by moving fast and then the board is so efficient that they seem to work through efficiency rather than brute power..
How come no-one races with foil kites? are they not fast enough for downwind?

I hear the V3 is a lot more efficient too.. We may have a sample 54 arriving in the UK soon.. can't wait to try :-)

I love my V1 Sector 60. Yesterday I was riding (the only kiter) on a lake with just little ripples on the water. I don't know how strong the wind was blowing, but the windsurfer out there was slogging on a long board with a 7.5m sail. I used to ride the same setup, and could plane in about 12 mph wind. He wasn't planing. I was using a 15m Varial X Race, and wishing I had picked a smaller kite. Once I was going, I was sheeted way out. I only needed the power to get started, and could easily have done that by just working a smaller kite a bit more. I'm guessing the wind was around 10 mph most of the time. It's an amazing board. It'd be fun to try the V3 for comparison.

Hey Freddie - We have stock of the Sector V3 60 & 66 coming in at 24-7 Boardsports at the end of April. Can't wait to get my hands on one :D

NB - We still have a V2 60 in stock as well as a V2 60 demo board on the water if anyone hasn't tried the Sector yet. The shop is on Calshot Spit in the UK.

Aloha

V3s have proper Tuttle box (2 bolts) fins in the front & back centre boxes. Mini tuttle (1 bolt) in the back (quad fin setup) boxes.

The V2 uses all 4 mini tuttle box, so I guess if you wanted Airush Sector fins with a touch less less cant, ie. 5 degree on V3 as opposed to 9 degree on the V2 fins. You would be able to use the 22cm fins from the back of the V3 60 as your new front fins & the optional 18cm fins for the back of the V3 54 as your back fins.

Pretty sure it would help the V2 60 ride flatter/faster, but not class legal for one design racing :thumb:
