C Johnson wrote: I considered getting a V3 Kahoona last year but was turned off by the build quality issues I read/heard about so I went with a 9m Envy instead. A quick question C Johnson, I own a 9 Combat but I'm thinking about changing it for an Element 9. Last days I had some rides with my mates Envy 9m (2011), could you please compare these two kites? thanks in advance

I didn't have the envy very long before I switched to elements so its kinda hard to highlight the differences. I thought they were pretty similar. Element seems to have a little bit lighter bar pressure and a little more direct steering. Very subtle differences, I think if you like the Envy you will like the Element. Seems like the Element was a little more rigid in the sky too. The Envy might pop a bit better but the Element seemed to be better at going up wind. Again all these differences were very slight in my opinion. Thinking back its really hard to find distinguishing traits between the two.
Cheers, CJ
