i also have the Brunotti Cherryblossom 130 and have about the same weight as you. I'm very happy with this board. I have had and tried different kind of boards, but for me this is one of the best board i have had in the last few years.( and the graphics are really amazing) I also think that it is better for you to choose a board not bigger then 130. Maybe you could try or test a few board from a shop nearby? Good luck and have fun!

The only probably with the girl Brunotti boards is that they don't come in bigger than 130x38. Which is why i was recommended the YZ board for my weight and wind range I love the Brunotti boards and probably wouldn't settle for anything but it, its just a matter if the males board will be right for me. Have u girls tried it or do you guys know any girls who've tried it? Thank you

If you are a beginner I recommand you get a bigger board than the 2 you referred to. Get a good lightwind board 140 and over with litlle rocker and you will get going on the water much faster. You will keep that board for a long time for the light wind days (10 to 15 knts!!!!) so it's not a waste of money. When you are riding nicely then you get your smaller board. The 130 would be fine. My wife rides the Caliber XO and she's very pleased with it. There are lots of goods boards in that 130 range so you should try them before buying one if possible. BTW the 10 m kite is a goog size for you to learn on but you will definitely need a bigger board to shorten the learning curve. Good luck.

So would the 133x40 Brunotti YZ be good with the 10M kite in a 10-15 knot wind range?

Seriously -- You should be asking if the person is from San Diego ; that is where the Light Wind Guru's are from !!
The only Decent advice i read so far was from --MCMario-- when advised the 140,(with Lil rocker) .
Learn on a bigger board then get the small one later ; That way Ya got the Large one for when the wind is light in the future.
143lb in winds 10 and under , you Want a BIG board ; even when your a Good rider that way people who advise the smaller boards can just watch Ya ride while they sit on the Beach !!

If you are looking for a girl's specific board in those sizes then check out the Cabrinha Caliber XO. I comes in a 130x39 and a 133x40. the shape and bottom are the same as the high end Cabrinha Caliber but the board is a bit softer and the footstrap inserts are more female friendly....as are the graphics Check it out... http://www.cabrinhakites.com/caliber-xo.htmlsteve
