The New V-7 Dynabar.

Postby Bille » Tue Mar 27, 2012 12:58 am

So --plummet-- makes a topic about wave riding on a TT ...
Then --mike dubs-- makes a comment about how EASY the Dynabar , makes
going toeside a breeze, easy on your back, knees and hip.

So i think : "Damn -- now That's what I Need" !!

A Lil internet search and i find 321 Kite boarding in Cocoa Beach :
http://www.321kiteboarding.com/

Then i send an E-mail along with my Kiteboarder Mag article & a few shots of me
jumping off some Really big stuff with a Hang glider ; & convince them i can make their
product look Really Good if they Hook me up.

They Did !!!
With the Newest version of the V-7 Dynabar.

BUT wait --- there's a Catch :
I gotta blow the Top of a wave off while riding Tow-side with their item, and get a Good
shot of it for the forum ...
OR
Pay the Full Retail by November of This year to Romann Chavannes ; the Guy that
hooked me up with the V-7 Dynabar from 321 Kite boarding in Cocoa Beach.

The prosthetics make it Hard to Tow-side ; if the Dynabar can help me do better
then the loss will be worth it. But as i explained to Romann : "I Do NOT Like loosing"!
So expect a Good shot by summer, or i'll be back Here trying to explain my Goonage.

Bille

Good Luck Billie.

Poser,

Do you find yourself being jerked off balance when the hook changes to different positions? Is it something you just get used to?

No I don't at all.
you just get used to the bar and then you forget it's there.

That sounds like a good way to motivate yourself Bille and a good move by Dynabar - if they hold you to a good smack on the lip.

You might be able to get the same deal on some rotating straps from Henning at Sportsgearsolutions, as they seem to see themselves and Dynabar as complementary. If you are going to pay full retail if you fail, you may need all the help equipment can give.

http://www.sportsgear-solutions.com/

Longer term, you may be best with a wave twintip for 225 lbs? That may be the hard part as the market is small and the market for 225 lbs is even smaller.

To get the photo though, you only need to ride toeside at a good wave and carve hard to smack the lip, so a surfboard would be best for that. Good luck with it.

Well Billie, Romann does drive a hard bargain! He kind of views everyone the same, legs or no legs! Just reading your article is an inspiration to anyone who is getting into kiting and finds themselves at a barrier to progression. http://www.thekiteboarder.com/wordpress ... lly-floyd/

We do hope you enjoy your new Dynabar. Especially for waves, make sure to try the race rope. Here on the East coast most of us use the Wave bar, but the West coast guys seem to like the rope. Hows that for controversy, East vs. West!! So lets see those pictures! :D
