IP was storming all day Sunday with smoothly powered 11m conditions. While it was dust on crust, it was really fun to be back in Island Park.
Monday was one of those idyllically clear days where the mountains seemed to double in size. Fresh snow overnight and perfect 13m kiting on west wind took me to a new kite spot – Bootjack Hill. Here I found another surprise for IP – a park-n-ride glide hill! How come it took me ten years to session here!?
Following that I headed to The Wave and finished the afternoon with what seemed like 30 miles of powered powder. At The Wave I took out the point-n-shoot and let the self-timer do the work.
Enjoy the photos and see ya out there, Noah
