Tomorrow's gonna Blow 30 !!!!!

It's got this bungee to keep it centered when using the different attachments.
One is a Cord ;
one is a weird shaped bar.

Any suggestions on which one to go with tomorrow ?
Also came with some different size pulleys , any suggestions here, or does
it matter ??

It also has a QR to detach the hook from the harness when using the cord ; probably
gonna put some kinda safety on it & the chicken loop so i don't loose it if pulled.

Gonna put the straps on my NASH surfboard tonight, (rode it strapless but ...)and
give it a try, May even leave the TT home to FORCE myself to ride Surfboard, or
Go home !!

Nice one Billie. If I was in your neck of the woods I'd bring the gear and come take those photos for you good luck. And yeah leave that TT at home, best way to learn.

Glad it got to you just in time! As far as the bar, that is the Wave bar, it slides freely and is our personal choice here on the east coast. The Dyneema safety leash can actually double up as the "Race Rope" that seems to be the wave riding choice on the west coast. It is going to move around a lot more freely on that setting.

Set up: Dyneema Race Rope
1. Most people dont use a front leash attachment point, so feel free to ditch the quick release.
2. Take the dyneema rope and add about an inch or so more line by re-tying the knot on one end and make an overhand knot where you removed the quick release.
3. change the small bushings on the spreader Hook to the big roller (for use with the dyneema rope) Thread it through the hook and your all done.
Set up: Wave or Free Ride bar
1. Again feel free to do whatever with the dyneema rope
2. Thread the bar through the spreader hook
3. Attach the bar through the two outermost holes and secure with lock bolts
4. Go Ride!

Been using the bar since the first generation and will never go back to fixed. I think I have V4 or V5 now, the wave model, but looking forward to trying the rope attachment when I decide to get the newer model. A buddy of mine suggest you wax the rope with surfing wax(warm water) to prolong the life of the rope. Otherwise, it will wear rather quickly. The little plastic washers wear pretty quickly too. I found a thicker washer at home depot that last way longer, you just have to sand down the length a little.

BTW Jay, since you are feeling generous.... How about throwing a bone to your first customer in San Diego. The guy who turned the owner Vic of Kite Country on to the them when you first started. I would be happy to send a pic as well if you do.

Had my very first go with the V7 yesterday....very very impressed, as others have said it felt a little odd at first but soon got used to it.
I mainly want it for wave riding but had no issues using it for boosting either, cant wait for a big class day here in the surf.

My First Go with the V-7 Dynabar ...
bin riding without legs since 2009, (3 years) .

I "CAN'T" BELIEVE I BIN RIDING WITHOUT THIS TOOL !!!!!!

If i had used the Dynabar for the last three years ;
I'd be a LOT better now !!

Everything is easier, even ,(almost) got tow-side riding down now
where as before, it was nearly Impossible.

Ya stay squared off to the wind & the back doesn't hurt from being Twisted
with the old Fixed spreader Bar Hook.

We got our 30mph today, the First transition i did, i could see how effortless
the pull made the Lower Back feel as the kite reversed directions !
Nothing Wearied at all, the Pull was from the side with NO twisting moment
and it made pressing on the rear of the board a LOT easier with Much greater
results!!

I went with the rope & Large pulley ; it traveled Really SMO0ooooth !!!!!!!!

I Like the Wax idea, (BTW) !!

I also used it for the first time last week, didn't feel awkward at all, boosted some jumps, no problem. I'm curious to do some front and back rolls with the wave setup, anybody tried it? Any problems?

no problemo.

your hand(s) on the bar stabilize it (or can also help it slide). Just try it and you'll see for yourself. It actually helps to have the hook slide if you need to over-correct or twist your body more to stick a landing or transition landing (e.g. to toeside). Let us know what you think after you try it.
