I'm really happy this turned out to be such an interesting discussion! This is what a forum is all about!!
I just wanted to add that when I wrote that the Money Shot was to stiff for me in chop, I meant quite rough chop, maybe 0,4 to 0,5 meters. I made me tired in knees and legs quickl, and I also felt I really had to put my weight back to avoid nose dives "lifting" the front of the board to better absorb chop.
I just got a great offer to buy a "new" 2011 Naish Momentum 138x43 Park Edition, which seems to be a really good board for my demands as well, with soft flex and high rocker. 138x43 might be a bit too big to ride with straps though.
But I guess I should also really try to have a go on the 50fifty!!

I am less worried about the size of the board these days. I'd rather have a slightly bigger board...assuming it can hold some power, than getting a board that is too small, where everything needs to be landed with speed and power or you'll sink.

The momentum is great board. Personally I think the Moneyshot has more from the momentum than the thorn...maybe somewhere in between or taking from both. I never rode the 138 momentum tho.

When you guys are referring to equal weight on the TT's I am not with you at all. I ride 80+% on my backfoot. It might be from my 122cm days, but I like to crank the back foot.

In general I am not worried about the rocker line as long as it is not too deep...well i thin with these wide boards it isn;t as much of an issue. My issue with the rocker I think mostly comes from an old board I had from a different brand (I can actually not remember the name) that had so much rocker it affected the how much power I needed to ride it. It rode really really small. On a the wide / bigger board that is less of an issue.

Wild Duke. I had the arcade out today, I'll see if i can post a pic of the rockerline of it. Has quite a bit of rocker. I do suck at riding boots though, but it is definitely liberating to not have to worry about getting a foot out of a strap. Thx for posting the vid..makes sense what he is saying. I am trying to get some guys to make a slider here...but I am not sure if I'll be able to. ...also I just friggen hate the rap music of the wakestyle vids. ;-)

On Nobile's website it they say the 50fifty has "very soft flex", and the rocker seems quite high.
On Naish's website they say the Money Shot has "low rocker" and that it gets stiffer the more load you put on it.
So they should be quite different, but I don't know..

Well it probably does depend on the frame of reference, but they are probably different. Only you can really decide what is good for you :-)
