This guy needs to define what he considers light wind? Then all the pimps can push their favorite kite. Also how much does he weigh, what board does he ride? So mny people make posts like this and no answer is of really any value without his numbers.

Hi, I'm interested in a big kite for the very light wind. So I'm oriented in a 14m kite. I could ride almost every day.... Thank you

A 14M is basically a 12M for a 95kg rider :thumb:
Same goes that a 10M is basically a 12M for a lighter 55kg rider

Just get a specialized new generation ULW tube kite in 16M/17M/18M sizes
On a 14M to ride almost everyday you will need a specialized ULW directional board ($$$)

In summer winds i like 50% more kite size
At 75kg i am on a 12M (Rebel)
When the warm wind arrives i like the 18M (Dyno with 2.5m ext. = 27.5m lines)

Just yesterday on my narrow 5'9" Kontact x 16 7/8" (in 85F) + Dyno (12mph)
Low height kiteloops / downloops/ flying upwind /always planing/smacking the small waves in surf

FUN FUN FUN :thumb: :surf:

14m RPM with 23" bar and 27m lines has been my go to kite for "lighter" winds. IMO the RPM's with split strut are incredible.

Ok guys, thank you for the advices...Has the Rally a lot of side-pull? I don't like at all the race kites...

What do you mean by "side pull"?

The Rally is a great kite if you are also a lighter rider, but if you weigh 185+ lbs I would think twice if you really want a light wind kite. The RPM is better, in that case....

I have a 2011 North Fuse 14m that I just love, and a friend (similar weight, 190 lbs) that tried my kite, just bought one as well. Awesome kite, great relaunch, fast and smooth. See if you can try it.

I have flown 5 diff 14Ms. Weigh 240 lbs. Buy 2012 14M Rebel. Don't waste your time testing. My 3 cents!! :desperado: :desperado: :happybirthday: :happybirthday: :happybirthday: :happybirthday: :happybirthday:

For light wind I would go for a 5line kite with a very high aspect ratio. High aspect ratio kites are more efficient than low aspect kites. With a 5th line it is much easier to relaunch in light wind. I'm thinking a big old c kite!
