Hello, till now I'm kiteboarding on an Underground DT151, but in powered up situations it becomes very difficult to control the board. (My weight: 63kg)
What size of board can you advice me for powered up conditions in choppy water? Length?, width?, very concave or not? a lot of rocker?
And what about the fins?

Board advice
Try a smaller one because you´re light weight like me.
130 x 34 will be enough.
140 x 34.5 also very good.
Check the new Cabrinha 2004 soon. Rat Lab 130 or 140.-

Its still only the first half of 2003 !!!
The windsurfing business was/is ALMOST as crazy, but not this much...
I dont like that kind of marketing, no matter how good the product is

Why not call it a 2003 board then, which it is ?
Go buy the new 2010 boards - they are waaaay ahead (6 years...) of the pack !
No, really, I have absolutely nothing against brands that launches new or similar but improved products in the middle of the season here.
Far better than waiting ½ year, and users have to get used to this way of evolution of better equipment.
It is not a competition for the users - it is a service.
But dont call it "next years model"
And as the big brands are having world wide market share anyway - there IS NO KITESEASON overall...

Seriously, if you like Underground boards you should try one of the smaller wave trays, or even the classic Fridge Door 1.38M.

Maybe one of the new RobertoRicciDesigns.com "human size" boards, which are all 140cm, but come in widths varying from 34 to 44cm (they may have different rocker, flex, outline, & concave too, but I haven't got around to measuring them yet). There's a chart on their website to select the width based on your weight, wind, & skill.
