@ motion. I have the same bar and always check my lines when I first get a new bar. When I did that with the Blade bar, the back lines were shorter(or the leader lines off the back lines were made a little short). So, I added pigtails(about 3in or 8cm) to the outside lines to even things up. I have used the bar for about 10-12 times and the line lengths have not changed. So if your bar was like mine, the front lines were longer from the start.

nah The lines were equal when i bought the kite. I checked them, before using them for the first time, because i had some lines problem with with last year model also.
It is not a problem if they only stretch when new. I just hope they don't stretch significantly more after some time.

@ Motion: From what I understand from Blade's user manual, lines should be the same lenght at full power (+/- 2''): http://www.bladekites.com/attach/283/285/976/1273.pdfI've been riding the 2011 and 2012 many times and no lines problems so far. I will check them this week and will get back to you.

it was al fine when i bought it, it just seems unusual that they stretched so much after 6 hours of use, although i was riding very power or over powerd most of that time.

Hi,
I had the same problem. I just took the center lines extensions off, This fixed the problem straight away.
Kite fly's fine now.
ALL lines should be the same length.

Even if you get them even, you should check periodically, like maybe after 5 time of use, especially since they stretched so quickly.

The Blade kites come with a pretty good lineset. Fly it five or six times, then swap the center lines and the steering lines, fly it five or six more sessions......your lines are stretched and even. All done......Easy.

That's actually some good advice Blade bar design is good in that way. All four lines are the same and easy replaceable.

Can't say we have ever had any customers mention this at kitesurfwarehouse.com and we have been selling blades for years. It's possible that I could have got a defective set.
Most brands use components from the same factories, and if I know yaron at blade, they will be buying the absolute best lines they can.
