Can I use a 4 line slingshot bar with this kite. I got a new bar with the thicker lines I use for all my small kites (Rev, Waroo, etc. i love it and really don't want to have to have a 5 line bar. I know it is best to have a 5 line bar for the fuel but basically im asking will the kite relaunch in high winds without it. Shouldn't be a problem right.

Since it's a 7 meter I am only going to use it in high winds so it should relaunch like a bowkite right? IE: 20-30mph

Also wondering if this is the 07 or 08 it is hard to tell.





Oh and any advice to give me about using this kite? I am an advanced kiter but new to the whole c kite thing.

Looks like an 08 Fuel so it`ll need that 5th line Laz... 08 Fuel doesn`t relaunch like a bow kite..

It is an 08 Fuel and you can fly and relaunch it with only 4 lines. Done it very often...

Learn C kite relaunch techniques. 7m Fuel should easily reverse launch. Not that much harder than pulling a steering line.

07 and 08 are pretty much the same, they are very good kites. the 11m was also an awesome kite - prob 2 of my fave kites ever! the 7m fuel did destroy my ankle tho

I guess I will hold onto the extra bar and make sure its good with 4 lines first. What do you mean reverse launch? Like pull on both side lines

That's because you can fly it with 4 lines, but it is more stable with 5 lines, specifically in gusty conditions. Be sure to pump it up firmly!

Nice kite, good depower, nice range. Restarting a small c in sufficient wind is super easy, just pull one of the steering lines.

Exactly Pull both steering lines hard and the kite goes up.
