Postby Dimitri M » Tue Apr 17, 2012 7:03 pm

Hello guys,
Just wanted to keep you posted on the demos we have been having here on the Outer Banks, North Carolina (USA). It has been incredible. The only problem is that I need to put more demo kites into the demo fleet because of the demand.
These demos started March 27th and will keep going until July 25 "2012".
Any one interested in demoing any (2011, 3G, and 3GII) product such as:
-RENEGADES kites model (5/7/9/11/13, Infinity v2)
-SCREAMER kites model (7/9/12/14) & SCREAMER 10 LTD plus the new (4G) S10 ltd prototype.
-JUDGE kites model (6/8/11)
-TUTOR trainer kite
-JUNIOR PRO 4 kite for kids
-REEF SURF BOARDS (5'7" & 5'11" or the new V2 5'7" & 6'0")
-TWIN TIPS BOARDS (Spartan,Droid, Oxygen, Junior Pro)
-HARNESSES

and so on can reach us via email at: dimitri@epickites.com or through this post.
Once again, I hope to see you in the water no matter what brand you ride. Let's have an epic time.
:thumb:

P.S. Will be posting more EPIC demo pictures very soon.

I want a ride on the 4G S10 LTD.
I'm not sure what direction they can go to improve that one, so it will be very interesting to see what MoMi man and Dimitri came up with this time. Maybe make it just slightly less high aspect?
I am sure of a few things.......it will be black and it will be good :thumb:

Hello Oldnbroken,
Yes that is a very good question about the SCREAMER 10 LTD (4G). I am not sure how much better we can make it!!! Let's see what Momi came up with. We have been working on few ideas for a while now. I have (2) SCREAMER 10 ltd v1 & v2 (4G) prototype here that I just got yesterday. We should be getting more wind by the weekend so we can test these new prototypes.
So if you are around the East Coast, come down to the OBX so you can demo all these new toys. For people that can't make it, please fill free to contact me via email or the forum and will get you set up with a demo.

P.S. And "YES", the SCREAMER 10 LTD always comes in black color.

Had a sweet session today totally lit on the 9m, I should have gone in and pumped up the 7m but just didn't want to get out.

The expression of the kiters coming out of the water after demoing the RENEGADE or the SCREAMER is incredible. This is actually the fuel to our success. This is the reason why our goal is to come up with something incredible that makes the kiters very pleased with what they just tried or bought.
Any way here are more pictures of the demo we just did today in AVON (NC) at "Kite Point".

There is a saying "it's good to be home"..... Well In a lot of ways its not!!! Yes, I missed the family, but the riding in the Outer Banks is simply unreal. If you haven't yet been there, make it your next trip. Here is how mine went down.
Ive been teaching on epic kites since their debut, and it's the best tool for the job. It's consistent, reliable, safe, and to the experienced rider, it's fast, punchy and exciting. Anyway, I decided thatafter the crap winter here, an obx trip was needed. Ivenever met Dimitri before, but he was kind enough to help out with my trip, from a answering questions ahead to setting us up with a sweet pad, to lending us any gear we needed or could ever want.
Day one. I land and drive to Nags Head for a quick session before checking out the Epic office and passing out after a simple dinner. It had been a long day.
Day two and three were spent with Dimitri at the Kitty Hawk resort in waves. Hats off to those guys as they've got a pretty sweet site. We rode all sorts of kite sizes and got to see Dimitri and Cameron do some riding in person. If you think he plus big airs in the pictures, you have to see the real deal! But most impressive was the reaction of the people testing the kites. For those that were staying t the resort, there was no need to bring any kites, just book your trip around the demo days and ride all the stuff you can, all the time. But I was able to witnessfirsthandthe reaction of people and excitement is an understatement. These guys were freakin pumped over the vibe of the gear. There were plenty of session stories being told and how the kites got people jived. I heard, " I just pulled the biggest jump ever on this thing" to 'I can't believe how much power and control this kite has" and my fav...."I'll buy em all.... Right now. Where do I sign?"

This was really the best kite trip ever. Dimitri played a big part in showing us around and making sure we were all having fun. For anyone going to the obx, you have to stop at Tortuga Lie, an awesome local eatery, crabby dicks for the t shirts and kitty hawk kites for a great spot and service.

I sit here, in the chilly north, wishing for that session at jockey's ridge back! Memories to last a lifetime for sure.
