Hey, what did you compare them with. What was it about the boards and different characteristics that you like or didn't like?

Compared with Cab's Trigger and Squad and North's Whip.

Found that the Xenon had a very direct feel, fast and stable edge to edge and it held up the speed in the arcs very well.
It is also quite forgiving and if you put too much weight on your front foot while in the drop, it won't dig up. Also in choppy conditions it doesn't bounce around and keeps my knees alive.
When you need to pick up the speed and fast, the vidra can boost forward in a sec.
What i liked the most was the fun the board delivered. I had a smile smeared on my face every second on it.

I was a little bit worried about construction so i emailed the guys over at Xenon with some questions. Kudos for Xenon customer service for replying after only a day.
This is what they have answered:

Light EPS core with wooden stringer, the entire deck is covered by high
density foam used in aviation industry with real bamboo on top of it in
Prisma, and real black Ebony wood in Vidra, all laminated with fiber
glass/epoxy raisin, sanded and polished.

The old ball and chains was convinced... now i am getting a new toy :baby:

Epoxy Raisin? Now that is what I call "Sweet".
Nice post, it gives me a comparison on why I liked it as much too. Never tried the Triggers, but I rode a few others as well and came to the same conclusion. The Vidra is fast. But even when I am blazing I can carve hard and kill the speed at a moments notice. Seems to me, the windier and bigger it gets, the more this board rates...There are always the small subtle things that I can't put words to, it is just a feeling you get when you connect with a board. This one does it for me. I have 6 months on mine and only have a couple of small pressure dings on the bottom. I have snapped several fins though.
Side note, glad they used the FSC system. When I have snapped fins the week point is in the fin posts that slide into the fin boxes. I don't mind replacing fins, cheap compared to ripping out fin boxes or having cracks from the impacts. So far, not any sign of stress on that board from those little traumas.
