Ah interesting. Milled not mike mikes. Got it. Popler is nice. Used it for a 1/4 stip built core and it held up nice. Decent strength to weight and it's easy to source in the midwest. The venere supply sight is a treasure trove of vac setup goodness.

Hey Peter
We have used alot of different kinds of wood veneers in the last 5 years... Makore is one of my favs it just pops when cleared.. We have got some of the veneers from home depot and lowes. There is a place in Kitchner were we get some of our stuff from email me and I'll get you the details...
