i realy like that subject , about north team and naish money shot, and i realy want to know which stance is better for less hard flex feeling.. i could also say about xenon infra if someone know some infos compares to these boards.. i ll appreciate your thoughts

I am interesting in weight comparison of these 2012 boards. What can you tell me about this aspect?
I know that Team 2012 is super light (137x41 - 2.5 kg) . Anyway, what about 135 Money shot?
I actually ride on North Cezar 2009 and Naish Torch 2011 (Mainly on 12m) . I prefer freestyle.

I spent a couple of weeks kiting in the Gorge renting various boards. To be honest, I didn't like the Money Shot, it felt heavy and the footstraps felt uncomfortable. I have small feet and I couldn't get them tight enough so my instep kept rubbing against the inside. Other people think the Naish footstraps are great.
I also used the new carbon North board which I'm pretty sure is called the Team and it was quite a large size (maybe 138?). It is light, stiff, fast, and flat and I liked it but probably a little big for me on a typical Gorge day.
I also tried last year's Carbrinha Caliber which has channels and more rocker. This was my personal favourite despite being quite heavy as as the landings were super smooth with less risk of catching an edge.
All of these boards popped well but technique did differ a bit to get the most out of them. Bear in mind though that upwind performance is not important in the Gorge because of the current and it is pretty choppy unless you are behind the sandbar. Different conditions might lead to different conclusions.

Unfortunately, Team Series 2012 maybe the most expensive twin-tip board this year (£769.00)
Maybe Gambler will be better choice for me. It is the same Team, but more hard, and a little more heavy (only on 0,1 kg). (£559.00)
I tested Team 2012 - it is super great freestyle board.

If you're looking for a cheaper version of the Team, depending on what you're looking for, you might want to consider the Jaime over the Gambler. The Jaime and Team are more similar in terms of rocker and construction. The Gambler is much more rockered out and heavy as it is meant more specifically for wakestyle/hitting features. The Jaime is a little more flexible than the Team, but it is still a fairly stiff board with plenty of pop for freestyle tricks. It is about as comfortable as the Team in the chop (the Team is stiffer, but the carbon construction and resulting low swing weight make it feel as comfortable on the knees as a slightly more flexy board like the Jaime).

The Gambler is much more rockered, so it won't work as well in lighter wind, but it will soften up hard wakestyle powered landings, so again, if that's your thing, then the Gambler will work well.

If you're looking for an all-around do-everything board with a lower price tag than the Team, go for a Jaime. If you're looking more for a focused, wakestyle board, then the Gambler will work great.
