How good is Cartan for boards?

Just read about a new material in new Carved boards: Cartan.

How good is that???

Sounds like a marketing name of something that doesn't exist in reality.
If i'm wrong please post a link that proves the opposite of my thesis. Thx

Very nice looking boards! I tried fab's one in Boracay and it was so fast! Tantrum I believe! Very very nicely built board too! Hmmm... Thinking!

There are also cheaper models if I'm not wrong, 1600 euro is for the top model, full carbon custom made. I don't know if I would like a full carbon board. They are light but very stiff, I prefer something with the right mix of stiffness and flexiblility.

Unfortunately I never owned a 1600 euro board! I actually tested two full carbon boards custom made here in Italy and I frankly did not like them too much. Very very light, they are impressive on the beach and when jumping but I live on a lake and we always have choppy conditions. A super stiff board is not a pleasure if you ride on the chop in my opinion. You enjoy the board the first runs, then your get tired quickly as the boards bounches on the chop and transmits all the vibrations to your body. Personal taste!
