Ex-die hard Cabrinha rider sees the light. Spent two weeks in the OBX for some EPIC riding ---- rode similar sizes of my Cabs and Epics that were pumped up on the beach for a demo. Never had so much fun on a kite. Being a big person"105kg" i usually have to ride larger kites than my peers. Still true---- but able to go down a size on the Epic Screamer. Loved the turning, low bar pressure, easy relaunch, and the wind range was crazy. The bar is well thought out, lines are nice an of course kook proof tails on the lines.
Just a not on the wind range ---- on a separate day wind started in the mid-teens. Downwinder suggested. Between the suggested time and actual water time wind came up to the mid 20's. Now I showed up with a 14m screamer. Rigged it on the suggested knots for best performance and got on the water. OK that thing was JACKED up but totally controllable "I never felt unsafe" and it was crazy fun jumping. Now I have established the top end of the 14m for me which at times was averaging upper 20's low 30's with some 3-5 mph gusts. Now I'll be looking for my low end of the range ---- not nearly as fun but kinda curious.
Gear: SCREAMER 7/9/12/14 for Free Style. Not to forget the SCREAMER 10 LTD for my one go kite. SURF 8 & 12 for the waves. RENEGADE 6.5 and 9 for all around kiting. And some times I use my son's JUNIOR PRO 4 when it blows 45+ for the waves. Just try the EPICKITES and you will see for yourself.

So you were the crazy one on the SCREAMER 14!!!
I was wondering who was riding that kite when we were doing a down winder on our 9 and 10 meter kites. You were getting some serious big airs, and the hang time was just crazy.
Nice job.

These are more pictures of the EPIC demos we did in Avon at KITEPOINT and also at the LIGHT HOUSE.
It was a long day. We were on the beach at 9 am until 4 pm.
Today we are doing a demo in Nags Head at JOCKEY'S RIDGE. It should be another EPIC day.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Dimitri for the Jockeys Ridge demo yesterday he was attentive and helpful (not pushy) all through the day. Everyone had a great time using the 3G gear..... It's given us all food for thought for our next kite shopping

These are more pictures of the demos we did today and yesterday in Nags Head at Jockey's Ridge. Yesterday was blowing 9 to 13 knots. People were on the INFINITY v2 and at the end of the day the wind picked up to 16 knots. So people were able to enjoy the SCREAMER 14. Today it was blowing 17 to 22 knots. So people were able to demo S12, S9, R9, R11.

These are more pictures from another EPIC demo we did yesterday May 14, 2012. I ran out of memories on my camera from taking all these "Testimonial" from different kiters demoing the kites.
Whaooo....it is amazing to see so many people impressed by the kites.

Another EPIC DEMO we had today on the Outer Banks, NC (Nags Head "Jockey's Ridge").
These are some pictures of the demo. We had around 18 people for the demos. Demoing from the RACER 17 to the RENEGADE 9 meter kite. I think this was the longest demo we had so far. We started around 8:10 AM and end up at 7:45 PM. They did not want to stop.....
P.S. These pictures were taken by Dave Daniels.
