Just got my leash today. not bad, less than day delivery. Where does the kite leash attach, and what is it's purpose?

Definitely don't wrap it around your neck.

Probably to your fins screws and harness.

Kite leash? Board leash? Dude no offense but it sounds like you taking the piss. Search. There are literally hundreds of posts on this subject!!!! If it's for a board leash then this as far as I go. Kite leash then your question has been answered. Pretty much all kite leashes follow the same basic principle the switch is no exception. Get some lessons and try not become a statistic!!!!

keegs you attach your kite leash on your harness with one end (the end with the quick release next to it so you can grab it). the other end is attached to your "flag out safety". This varies according to the model of the kite.

the purpose of the leash is when the shit hits the fan you hit your quick release on your chicken loop and instead of the kite just flapping away in the breeze, the flag out line allows the kite to completely depower but it is still attached to you by that kite leash.

if the kite doesn't depower from the first quick release, then use the the quick release on the leash and the kite will flap away.

please find someone who is local and talk to them, there's only hundreds of kiters in toronto
