Ex-die hard Cabrinha rider sees the light. Spent two weeks in the OBX for some EPIC riding ---- rode similar sizes of my Cabs and Epics that were pumped up on the beach for a demo. Never had so much fun on a kite. Being a big person"105kg" i usually have to ride larger kites than my peers. Still true---- but able to go down a size on the Epic Screamer. Loved the turning, low bar pressure, easy relaunch, and the wind range was crazy. The bar is well thought out, lines are nice an of course kook proof tails on the lines.
Just a not on the wind range ---- on a separate day wind started in the mid-teens. Downwinder suggested. Between the suggested time and actual water time wind came up to the mid 20's. Now I showed up with a 14m screamer. Rigged it on the suggested knots for best performance and got on the water. OK that thing was JACKED up but totally controllable "I never felt unsafe" and it was crazy fun jumping. Now I have established the top end of the 14m for me which at times was averaging upper 20's low 30's with some 3-5 mph gusts. Now I'll be looking for my low end of the range ---- not nearly as fun but kinda curious.

I was wondering who was riding that kite when we were doing a down winder on our 9 and 10 meter kites. You were getting some serious big airs, and the hang time was just crazy. Nice job.

Today we are doing a demo in Nags Head at JOCKEY'S RIDGE. It should be another EPIC day. Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Dimitri for the Jockeys Ridge demo yesterday he was attentive and helpful (not pushy) all through the day. Everyone had a great time using the 3G gear..... It's given us all food for thought for our next kite shopping
