I am very interested in this bar. Looking to replace my current bar with it. Is this bar as cool as it looks?

I am concerned if the trim ever changes by itself. Does the trim slip during a session? Is the slip significant? How about if the lines go slack then load up again? Will that change the trim?

I´m using the bar for a few weeks now. And yes, it is as cool as it looks. Everything works very easy. No slipping of the trim when you want to depower your kite. H-stopper works perfectly. Loading up after slack lines will not change your depower setting.

i have a home made version of it that i made after my North depower line needed to be replaced. took out the cam cleat and did the same Z line setup, just no H-stopper. Used a single line around just the depower rope side side and it works perfectly. No slip at all regardless of how crazy the pull is and depowers easily when you want it to. Just have to get the small rope wrapped on the depower side the right thickness so it does not slide when you let the bar go to spin it. Easy and works great, no lines flopping around and you can always reach it to depower. Great idea, i think it will become a standard setup soon.

Could you put some pictures up of your diy version?
