Wind has been light (10 - 14 kts) in South Padre Island so I rented a Naish Fish (5'6") from AirPadreKiteBoarding. Despite it's smaller size it has alot of volume and works well in light wind and chop. Up wind ability is good and it is the easist surfboard to transition that I have ridden. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light wind surfboard. I am 72 kg and rode it strapless. I have no affiliation with Naish
+1^^^ so easy to jibe, light wind machine, still rips. Only had a few sessions on it, but loving it. Not to mention that wood grain finish is gorgeous .

Both the Naish fish and Nugget are sweet boards. Wish the Nugget had the Naish fish durability without the added weight.
It would be awesome if a company like North Shore Inc would make a really light/thin/non goey front foot pad with a layer of toughness underneath that wouldn't kill the flexability and ride of a sweet surf board.but would keep you from destroying the deck after a couple weeks of really hard riding.
