Today it is 25.9 C = 79 F in the surf

Lowest temp February 22 (on average) is 21 C = 70 F
Highest temp August 29 (on average) is 29 C = 84 F

We have had lower temps and higher temps (67 F to 88 F)

Last year in late July we had "Upwelling" and the ocean temp dropped from 82 F to 69F overnight !!
It lasted 2-3 days

I used a fullsuit 2/3 mm once in the past season (hated it) :cry1:
Mostly 2mm shorty or 1.5mm sleeveless top :D
But for the past 2 wks skinning it :P

It starts around 32F, or 0c, and goes up from there to bathtub temperature. Below that, it is in a form that is much more solid, and we're on skis and snowboards.

2 years ago I was touring Hokkaido in Japan in January, -8 Celsius and snowing, totally overcast and gray and I saw 2 surfers in the water, seemed to wear wetsuit not drysuit... kudos and cojones to these Japanese ninja surfers! I felt cold just looking at them.

here in Jamaica , pretty warm , not sure the exact temp. A lot of the time i'll get hot and wanna cool off so i'll kite a bit further out to deeper cooler waters and just sit there in the water for a minute or two and cool down and probably end up having a pee too lol
